Hola padres,
Today in class we talked about "God's Eyes." We learned who originally made them (Huichol Native Americans) and why they were made (to serve as a sign of protection in a child's bedroom).
Students had the opportunity to make their own God's Eye to bring home with them. It was a bit hard for some of them at first, but by the end of the class everyone seemed to know what they were doing. We will finish this project next week (and some students might get to make a second one), and then the God's Eyes will go home with them to be placed in their bedroom.
