Hola padres!
Today in class we spent more time practicing how to say "my name is..." in Spanish. My goal is for each child to be able to answer this question without hesitating, just as they do in English, so we will keep practicing until that happens.
We also started practicing the answers to another question.
Q: ¿Cómo estás? How are you?
A: Muy bien! Very well!
Así así. Okay.
Mal. Not good at all.
Students should have a simple worksheet to bring home, with the possible responses written out and a smiley face to accompany each answer. The best way to learn these responses is to practice!
The last thing we practiced today was manners. These will be used in every class, just as they are every day in Mrs. Colangelo's room.
Por favor Please
Gracias Thank you
De nada You're welcome
Hasta luego!
