Today in class we reviewed a couple of the lessons that we learned before Easter Break (Conjugations of Estar, Pluralizing Nouns). You SHOULD have these notes already in your notebook, but if not, you can see me for help on where to look in your book.
We also learned a new verb, TENER (to have)
-Tener is an -ER verb
-Tener is an irregular verb, which means that it does not change the same way that other -ER verbs change
-The conjugations for Tener are:
Yo Tengo Nosotros Tenemos
Tu Tienes Vosotros Teneis (accent on 2nd e)
Usted Ustedes
El Tiene Ellos Tienen
Ella Ellas
CW: Activity 25 on page 134
*Instead of saying what "there is" in Ramon's locker, use the new verb to say what "he has" in his locker.
EX: Hay dos libros.
Instead, say "Ramon tiene dos libros"
REMINDER: Progress Reports grades are due Wednesday. Visit edline to see if you are missing work. You can also send me an email if you are unsure of what you are missing.
